Steps for laying out "Standard" sized
shingles
1. Install drip edge, underlayment, starter
course and first course of shingles.

2. Position printed line
on "Standard Tape" on top of
shingle and unroll up the roof to the ridge. Repeat every
30ft. or as needed across the roof until you reach the
other end of the shingle course.

3. Starting at first printed line, stretch chalk line
out and connect to other first line(s) and snap the chalk
line. Repeat at each line up the roof until you reach the
ridge.

4. Lay out shingles per manufacturers instructions, putting
the top of every shingle on the chalked lines.
