Directions for using G-Tape in different roof situations.
When you use G-Tape on your roofs, always remember to put the G-Tape mark on the TOP of the shingle.
When starting the roof layout, you always put on the metal drip edge, manufacturers underlayment, starter course and the first row of shingles. Then put on the G-Tape mark on TOP of the first row of shingle and roll it up the roof. Do the same to the other side of the roof. Run a chalkline from one G-Tape to the other and pop the lines on each mark as you go up the roof.
Put the top of each shingle onto the chalked line and fasten the shingle. Continue up the roof laying out the shingles using manufacturers recommended layout pattern.
